ANALYSIS

Analyzing both the training need (gaps), and the target audience are important steps to take before beginning the design phase. The saying goes, if you don't know where you're headed, how will you know when you've arrived? All training begins, and should end, with objectives. After the training ends, what do want your learner's to do? My approach to analysis (unless my team member has already established these questions) is to uncover the sauce, so that it's no longer a secret.

These excerpts contain a sample analysis of a group project aimed towards developing a seminar on Google Collaboration. Sort of a collaboration on collaboration. My role was to write the Analysis, create the multimedia, and then edit the final piece. Download the PDF if interested or here is an excerpt.

CROSS CULTURAL ANALYSIS

Analyzing for instruction can often cover wide geographical and cultural areas. It's important to know your audience and your stakeholders. This Advanced Case Study demonstrates the need to research both.
