DEVELOPMENT

I've been involved in both the Design and Development phase of multimedia presentations for over 15 years. My goal in obtaining my MS Ed in Learning Design & Technology was to learn how to better integrate the analysis and place more critical thought into the development phase, while using evaluation as the driver for ADDIE or Rapid Prototyping design. Having this knowledge combined with these skills I already possessed (Video Production, Infographics, Storyline and Captivate, Camtasia, along with a complete mastery of Adobe CC) added to my five years of experience working as an Instructional Designer with great teams to absorb practical knowledge, are what makes me a valuable asset to any organization.

The Storyline Game, Board Game, and Gamification videos were developed for my coursework. Gamification is a nice engagement vehicle when used wisely and with relevance. Games just for games sake don't really further learning outcomes, and are never the end all be all for course instruction.
